Rethinking... I think I like the tattoo better without the red....

This is my completed tattoo design... The tattoo had to represent something about myself.
1. I love America and patriotic images
2. I love animals.... I'm a vegan (1 year this month!).. hence the Charles Darwin quote.
3.A more subtle symbol: the bandana represents America and also one of the only memories I have of my dad, who died when I was 4.

I really wanted to use traditional American Sailor tattoo style and use of color, and more specifically use of the eagle as a patriotic symbol.

Another veront landscape painting... finished Friday Aug 7.
